Arts, Commerce and Science college Onde, Vikramgad is in the area of heavy rainfall in the Konkan region. In rainy season plenty of water is available. It is used for drinking, in the laboratories and other uses.
Two bore wells have been dug in the college premises. They have ample water, hence there is no scarcity of water.
For the betterment of environment and to save the water; rainwater harvesting is essential. Hence Rain Water Harvesting system is established at the back side of the open auditorium. It helps to percolate the water inside the soil and increase ground water level. Two bore wells have been dug in the college premises. They have ample water due to rainwater harvesting plant, hence there is no scarcity of water throughout the year.
