Hon’ble Shri. V. G. Patil, a committed social worker along with his dedicated and determined stalwarts, founded the Sanstha that is Sanjeevan Gramin Vaidyakiya & Samajik Sahayata Pratishthan in 1994 for social and educational reformation of the tribal populace in this extremely remote and inaccessible area of Vikramgad of Palghar district in Maharashtra.

The vision envisaged by Hon’ble Shri. V. G. Patil, to provide quality higher education to the disadvantaged tribal people in this area. Sanstha has grown into an educational foundation promoting education to bring the people into the mainstream of all-round development.

Ever since the establishment of the Sanstha, it has initiated to organize various activities for the tribal people in educational and medical fields. Sanstha has established Arts, Commerce and Science College at Onde in 2002 to cater to the needs of higher education through which thousands of students could complete higher education.
