About the Department and B.Com. Program

B.Com program of three years duration is divided into six terms of approx 6 months duration called semester i.e. from Semester I to Semester VI, two semesters per year. Arts Commerce & Science College was established in the year 2002 with its B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) degree course.

The roots of any professional qualification are laid at an undergraduate program. While being part of a degree program student obtain a wide perspective of the Commerce, Accountancy, economy, and various career options that are available.

With three division of the course, our college conducts graduate degree of commerce (B.Com) program with specialization in Accountancy under the guidelines of university of Mumbai. Candidates are taught core subjects related to commerce and finance.

The department of Commerce and Accountancy

The department of Commerce and Accountancy was established from the beginning of this college in 2002. The Department is playing an important role in inculcating knowledge, Skills with theory and practical transaction. It also promotes the entrepreneurship of the learners in this tribal area. The department has a Commerce Association which conducts various activities.

The department of Commerce and Accountancy of the College aims at providing students’ exposure to the Society & Nation.

Various activities are organized Such as

  • Department of Commerce & Accountancy had started a Basic Computer Course & Soft Skill Development course for the students from the year 2018-19.
  • Build the confidence in students, Department of Commerce & Accountancy sends students to participate in various competition exams such as “ICAI Commerce Wizard A Talent Search Test”.
  • Build the confidence in students, Department of Commerce & Accountancy sends students to participate in various inter college competition.

Department of Commerce & Accountancy is started a Remedial course in Accountancy for the students from the year 2018-19.

Commerce Association

Commerce Association is formed by department of commerce and accountancy from the academic year 2016 – 17. Commerce Association provides a platform for the students to exhibit their talents in various commerce and accountancy oriented events.

The commerce association conducts various activities concerned with the overall development of students. All programmes and activities undertaken by association are totally managed by the student members of association to enhance their analytical and decision-making skills with the help of Commerce Association In charge. Commerce Association In charge and Committee members act as a guiding force for the smooth functioning of the programmes organized by commerce association.

Objectives of the association

  • Inculcate the sound quality in the students.
  • Inculcate leadership qualities among students.
  • Develop the skills of the students(as innovative practice).
  • Field projectare given to the studentsto improve the research quality.
  • Mentoring the students.
